Do you ever wonder if God sees you, knows you, or cares about you?

With 7.89 billion people in the world, how, and why, would God care about us?

I used to believe God was mean and only noticed me when I was doing something wrong.

I felt frustrated and angry trying to live up to some standard of goodness I could not achieve.

The Lord gradually began to show me I was wrong about him. He wasn’t mad; he loved me, individually, personally, and lavishly.

God helped me see he is an amazing artist and creator who loves me more than I could imagine. He loves you this way too and wants you to know it.

By looking at the details of his beautiful world, we can get a glimpse of his enormous love, compassion, and care for us. Come explore Alaska with me and let’s discover God together.

About Judy

Judy is a Texas girl who has called Alaska home for 17 years. She will pay good money for a Chile Relleno and spicy salsa despite being told never to eat Mexican food north of Oklahoma. She spends summers fishing, hiking, and berry picking. In winter she eats the fruit of her summer harvest and drinks too much hot chocolate. Judy has survived cancer, earthquakes, and grocery store runs, and she doesn’t think twice about chasing lynx away from her chickens (though she should). Most importantly, God has shown her He is an amazing Creator who loves his children immeasurably.

She has previously been published in the magazines Clubhouse; Clubhouse, Jr; Journey; Light and Tasty; Taste of Home and Country. She has also been published in several compilation books including Out of the Overflow and three Taste of Home Celebration cookbooks.
